Gary Mervis started Camp Good Days to give his daughter, Teddi, who had been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, along with 62 other children diagnosed with cancer, the opportunity to attend a residential camping experience. His goal was to create a place where children could come together that were struggling with the same disease. Over the years, Camp Good Days has served over 50,000 campers from 22 states and 36 countries. Cancer doesn't just affect the person diagnosed, it affects the whole family, which is why we have expanded to create programs for children who have a parent or sibling with cancer, children who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer, and programs for men and women who have been diagnosed with cancer.
The 22nd Annual Wine & Spirits Auction Dinner combined with the Finger Lakes International Wine & Spirits Competition (FLIWC), has become one of the largest fundraisers for Camp Good Days. We are excited to return to an in-person event after the struggles that were brought upon us by the Covid-19 pandemic. Medal-winning wine from the FLIWC is served throughout the night. Wine and spirits will also be included in the silent auction, live auction, and the build your own case area, so that guests can get a personalized experience. Since its inception, Camp Good Days has kept Gary Mervis' promise that all of our programs and services will be provided free of charge to all participants and we need your help to continue this promise!
