How do I start and continue my bidding for silent auction items?
Browse the Silent Auction and start bidding on your favorite items!
There are two ways to bid on a silent auction item.
1)Manually enter your bid on selected items.
2) Autobid: If you would like to set an autobid for a specific item, you can set a maximum bid and the website will update your bid automatically. Givesmart will continue to keep you in the running until you reach your maximum bid.
It is important to note: If two bids are tied when the auction closes, the auction
website automatically defaults to the bid that was an autobid, not the bid that was
manually entered, even if it is for the same amount. An autobid outranks a manual bid.
Please note that each item has been described as accurately as possible; however, all
items are sold without warranty or authenticity, unless otherwise noted.
How can I keep active and know if I am outbid?
You will be notified via text if you have been outbid. Keep an eye on your favorite items! If
you are NOT receiving the text messages make sure you have the correct mobile number
under your profile. The texts will continue to notify you when you have been out bid or reached your maximum bid.
How do I know if I won an item?
At the conclusion of the event on Sunday April 18, at 8pm, you will receive a text if you won any items.
How do I pay?
***All payments must be received by 10pm on Sunday, April 18. ***
These payments are completed through the self-check-out process. Please note that
you will have the choice to either pay credit card fees yourself or allocate the fees to St. Mike's.
All bids are firm contracts and all transactions are considered final, with item winner
responsible for payment. Winners must complete payments by 10pm, Sunday, April 18.
How do I pick-up items that I won?
All tangible auction items are currently being stored at the Middle School Campus.
We will have the following scheduled pick-up days at the
St. Michael's Middle School Campus - 4121 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem, PA. :
Thursday, April 22, 9 am-12 pm
Friday, April 23, 9 am-12 pm
Some items are certificates that can be emailed to the winner with detailed info/contact
info about the item. Item certificates will be mailed to winners by April 25.
Each item box states if it needs to be picked up or if a certificate will be emailed.
If these times do not fit with your schedule, please contact Marianne Gano at mgano@st-mikes.com.
Other Questions:
Can I invite friends or family to participate as well?
Yes! They just need to register on the virtual auction website. You can also share the virtual
auction platform through social media when you sign up. There are various social media icons on the virtual auction website's homepage.
Once you register, you will get your own personal link and you should only use that link from
your own phone. If you are sharing with friends and family, be sure to use this link:

one person's link, the registered person can forward their text to their spouse. If you register
this way, please be aware that only the cell number that is registered will receive texts/outbid texts.
