St. Mary of Gostyn is a special place with an extremely talented student population. Our students are both challenged and supported by passionate teachers and staff each and every day so that they may learn, grow and thrive as they continue throughout their journey. 

We are facing a nationwide shortage of teachers and school staff, as well as major discrepancies between Public Schools and Catholic Schools pay scales. The School Staff Enrichment Fund (SSEF) is an initiative to help provide our teachers and staff members with additional compensation and appreciation for their loyalty to SMG. The SSEF serves as both a retention and recruitment tool for talented educators who may be considering working in Catholic education and selecting between other options. 

For the 2023-2024 school year, our goal is to give all teachers and staff members additional compensation checks in the fall and spring. To achieve this goal we need to raise $75,000 during #SMGGIVESDAYS. This can be done by collecting as little as $275 per school family. EVERY GIFT MATTERS!

The SSEF is an important step forward in retaining our talented and dedicated professional educators and recruiting new teachers to SMG in the future. 100% of all funds collected during #SMGGIVESDAYS will be deposited into a restricted account.
