Support the health of our community by joining us for HCHC's second "Raise the Stakes for Community Health" fundraiser. Don your cocktail attire and enjoy a fun night of casino games (Black Jack, Texas Hold 'Em, Craps, Roulette, and Slot Machines), silent auction, dinner, full bar, live DJ, and more! Our goal is to raise $25,000 to support HCHC's prenatal care program.
HCHC's program is a safety net, closing gaps in access to prenatal care for patients in our community. Over 1,000 patients have received a new OB appointment since the program began in 2018. Low-barrier access to prenatal care improves the chances of a healthy pregnancy and promotes healthy births. This benefits the patient, strengthens the community as a whole, and reduces the cost burden on the hospital system, notable by the reports of a dramatic decrease in unassigned hospital births since HCHC established a prenatal program. In 2022, HCHC served close to 400 prenatal patients, the most significant number in a single year since the program began. We anticipate the need continuing to grow, which is why the success of our upcoming fundraiser is so important to ensure we can provide quality, timely, and patient-centered prenatal care to anyone in need.
