This year's Paddle call is raising money for staures and the care of the whole person, "Cura Personalis".

This year's Paddle Call supports the holistic development of our students through "cura personalis", caring for the whole person.  Donations fund diverse extracurricular activities, from athletics to fine arts, empowering students to explore their passions and talents.  Your support also honors the impactful legacy of Fr. Jack Podsiadlo, S.J., '58, and ensures that cherished traditions are passed down to future generations.  Join us in sharing the lives of our student and preserving the spirit of McQuaid Jesuit!

5:30 p.m.: Amy Montrois Trio performs

6:00 p.m.: Field House Opens

7:00 p.m.: Guests Welcomed into Field House

7:30 p.m.: Paddle Call 

8:00 p.m.: Dinner Served

  McQuaid Jesuit's 2024 BASH Chairs
welcome you to join them for The Big Knight!

 On March 23, 2024, we are proud to host McQuaid Jesuit's 51st BASH - its largest annual fundraiser. We are coming off of an anniversary year last year where BASH 50 reached a fundraising milestone, raising a record breaking $1M+ to offset the school's operating budget and tuition assistance programs.

Why the 'Big Knight'?

It did not take long for us to know we wanted all of our traditional roots to shine through and celebrate BASH 51 by bringing together the McQuaid Jesuit family! Playing off of the 1996 film Big Night, we have had a lot of fun bouncing ideas and traditions off of one another to create an event experience that will bring our Italian heritage to 1800 S. Clinton on March 23!

All levels of support are so appreciated as we pursue all efforts to surpass last year's fundraising benchmark and break our million dollar goal again this year. We have big shoes to fill following last year's incredible 2023 BASH Chairs and supporters, but we know that one of McQuaid's biggest strengths is its community, in which we thank you for your time in reviewing opportunities to support BASH this year.

A Message from the 2025 BASH Chairs

On March 22, 2025, we are honored to host McQuaid Jesuit's 52nd BASH: The Great Knight: Building Our Legacy Together! This cherished fundraiser supports the school's operating budget and provides financial assistance to students. A proud McQuaid tradition, BASH unites our community for an unforgettable evening, and we can't wait to share it with you.

Why the "Great Knight: Building Our Legacy Together"?

This year's theme celebrates the growing legacy of McQuaid families, with more second- and third-generation students joining our school. Building a legacy is a privilege shared by all McQuaid families, as we provide our sons with an exceptional spiritual and academic journey. Together, we are creating a lasting legacy for them as they grow into men of character.

Our goal is to break the $1 million mark. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the Past BASH Chairs, we have a strong foundation to build upon.
