Meet our Honorees
Honorable Bonnie J. Mizdol
Appointed to the Superior Court in February 2006, Judge Mizdol served as Presiding Judge of the Family Part of Bergen from 2008 through April 2015. She also served as Bergen County's Assignment Judge from May 2015 through May 2023. During her entire tenure on the bench, she presided over Children in Court cases and worked closely with CASA for seventeen years. Judge Mizdol chaired numerous Supreme Court Committees including: the Judiciary-Surrogates Liaison Committee, the Working Group on Elder Justice, the Working Group on Pro Bono Assignments, and the Special Committee on the Non-Dissolution Docket. While serving as the Bergen's Family Part Presiding Judge, she chaired the Conference of New Jersey Family Part Judges, the Supreme Court Family Practice Committee, and the Ad Hoc Committee on Arbitration of Family Matters. Judge Mizdol also served as the New Jersey Designated Representative for the International Hague Network of Judges from 2017 to her retirement. Before her appointment to the Superior Court, Judge Mizdol was in private practice for 24 years. She simultaneously served as a Municipal Court Judge for 15 years, and as President of the Bergen County Municipal Judges' Association.
Advocate, Kathy Krassner
Kathy grew up in Ohio and managed a law firm in Tampa Florida before moving to New Jersey. In 2018, she learned about Bergen CASA from a friend who was an Advocate; she then reached out and soon after was trained, sworn-in and took her first case. Kathy is such a skilled Advocate that her Division Case Workers want to collaborate closely with her, and families seek her continued involvement in their lives after cases close. She is also fondly known at the office as the 'baby whisperer' and shares her skills as an Advocate Mentor with new volunteers. To date, she has been appointed to or assisted-with over 17 cases involving newborns or toddlers, who she passionately represents because they truly have no voices of their own. Kathy goes above and beyond for our fundraising efforts, collections, and drives. And we cannot train a new class of Advocates without asking her to share her experience and valuable insight. We are extremely grateful that Kathy Krassner is a very special member of our Bergen CASA family.

Each player hits a tee shot. The best ball location is determined, and each player plays his/her own ball from that spot. Each player will have their own score.
