Now celebrating its 22th year, the BTB Foundation - Beat Tom and Bill Charity Golf Outing, Dinner and Auction has raised and given $1.5 MILLION Dollars to help local families battling cancer and several cancer-related charities.
Our annual outing was started in 2002 to raise funds for a lifelong friend's wife who was undergoing breast cancer treatment. That inaugural year we raised $3,000 with 30 friends in attendance. Since then, the outing has kept growing; our 2019 Pre-Covid event saw record crowds of 303 golfers, with 140 volunteers on the course and 550 people for dinner, raising over $140,000 in net proceeds.
Since Covid hit, we've scaled the outing back and this year will be the same. We'll have our Golf Outing with all the assorted wackiness you've come to love and expect, but it will only be on one course. Also, instead of an "Event-type dinner", we'll have a robust, heavy-appetizer 19th hole party! All Outside and Under the Tent!
Also new this year - the youngsters want to take over! Bill's son Ray and his friends are looking to carry on the tradition and have challenged the "old guys" to a duel! Trust us, Tom and Bill are not scared. We welcome all comers!
Tom and Bill Latourette, along with Ray and a host of friends, family and volunteers, invite you to join us as we continue helping local families and cancer patients. Our outing brings together complete strangers and turns them into lifelong friends.
