Come experience 15 of Michigans award winning chefs, crafted cocktails and wine, under the lights at Little Caesars Arena (Detroit, Michigan). This event will directly raise support for the most overlooked group of kids in the state, foster care children. Love for a Child is a Michigan Non-profit Charity Organization that helps children of foster care who have been traumatized by abuse, abandonment and neglect. Our program serves kids who are destined to live in 10 homes by the age of 10 or have clinical reports that suggest the child has been a victim of abuse by multiple partners before the age of 10. These staggering stats leave children with less than a 2% chance of success in their young adult lives. At Love for a Child, we provide a 1 Year program FREE of cost to every family we serve, providing week long camps in 3 areas of our state, one year of 1on1 direct mentorship monthly, and taking care of birthdays, Christmas and key moments.
