We are so grateful to all who join us for the Run for Possibilities Gala. Everyone looked amazing! All of the hats, florals, beautiful colors, bow ties, and suspenders added so much to the festive spirit of the evening.
Thanks to the nearly 200 guests that helped us raise over $90,000 to support the Special Needs Foundation for Community Link. We are incredibly grateful! We especially thank all of the individuals who raised their paddles to donate $22,850 in just a few minutes. You ensure our participants, our family, can live and work together now and long into the future.
We also thank the community, businesses and individuals, who donated many great items for the auctions. Of course, nights like this wouldn't be possible without the support of our generous sponsors. Our Special Needs Foundation for Community Link board president, Helen Heimann, and Community Link executive director, John Huelskamp, thanked the crowd for their presence and enthusiasm. They expressed how Community Link is a family that cares for participants for years, often their entire adult lives. The Special Needs Foundation only further supports this family, and elevates Community Link from a "good" organization, to a "great" one!
The gala is a big night for the foundation each year it has been held, and Saturday was no exception. Our guest's participation in the horse races and other events to support the foundation was appreciated, and we are grateful for everyone for their attendance and support.
We loved the energy and excitement during the horse races and throughout the evening. We hope you plan to join us next year!
