"Trackscape" acrylic painting (27" x 34" framed) by beloved Buffalo painter Grace McKendry (1918-2003), who taught art at the Nottingham Academy and Nichols School for 30 years.

Ms. McKendry was associated with a group called the Oakland Artists, which included Liz Tower, Charlotte Albright, Nancy Jewett, and Virginia Tillou. They held a collective exhibition in Buffalo in 1982.

"Trackscape," featuring a trotter at Hamburg Raceway, is an acrylic painted in 1988 and acquired by the Albright Knox Members Gallery before being sold to its current owners. It was recently valued at $1500-2500. Included is a $100 gift card toward custom framing at Five Points Framing, a fine arts framing specialist in Buffalo.
