In March of 2021, NYFAC's services became part of Access: Supports for Living. Like NYFAC, Access began in 1963 as a small agency - the work of seven families of children with disabilities. These families believed that their children and many others like them had abilities and goals that far exceeded expectations. Today, the Access Network provides supports to nearly 20,000 people each year with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health and substance use concerns, and children and families facing challenges.
Support NYFAC Fund -- Support New Yorkers with Developmental Disabilities
Every day, our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide services to children and adults who have developmental disabilities, to facilitate growth and independence and empower them and their families to lead fulfilling lives. Your gift helps to provide enriched group community experiences, supports increased use of technology, secures educational supplies, and so much more.
Thank you for your support!
