Interior Design Consultation, Fisher Interiors

2 hour consultation on your interior color and/or layout design.

Judy Fisher established Fisher Interiors in 1992, after moving to Connecticut in 1990 and focusing her talents on fine residential design. A graduate of Union College, with a BA in Modern Languages and a minor in Art History, Judy has worked full time in the field of Interior Design since 1981, when she joined F. Schumacher & Co. and successfully completed their extensive training program. This education was then followed by studies at the New York School of Interior Design, where she earned a Design Diploma in 1983. After four years with Schumacher, Judy spent most of the next decade working for several noted Manhattan architectural firms including; Brennan, Beer, Gorman, Monk; and HOK, first as Project Designer, then as Project Manager. Her clients included major banks, corporations and fine hotels such as Lipton, Unilever, Saatchi & Saatchi, The World Wrestling Federation, First Boston, Societie Generale, Russell Reynolds, Bessemer Trust, USX, the St. Regis and the Sherry Netherland. She also collaborated on the rebuilding of the Kuwait Parliament after the Gulf War, a project which won Interiors magazine's "Project of the Year" in 1992. Throughout this period, Judy continued her education at Parsons School of Design, Fashion Institute of Technology and the New York School of Interior Design. Judy partnered with Peggy Jansen in 1997.
