NPBA Holiday Gala 2023

The NPBA is Proud to be Partnering with Voices for Veterans this Holiday Gala.

Voices for Veterans is a nonprofit corporation in the State of Washington made up of volunteers who are dedicated to assisting the homeless veteran population on the north Olympic Peninsula via the avenue of a Stand Down.

"A stand down is an event where we invite the homeless veteran and veterans in need. We do this with the intention of helping to get them off the streets and out of the woods. Our objective is to continue to assist the homeless veteran population by organizing events that bring many social service providers together in one place to help homeless veterans. It is a one-day event with open access; no questions asked and no hassles."

"Our organization was started after our first Stand Down event in October of 2004, which was a very successful event; we helped many homeless veterans and their families. We also helped many veterans in need of assistance who were on the verge of homelessness."
