Back by popular demand, we are going to be hosting the Biannual Burley Poker Tournament on February 24th at the Wall household (in the Burley neighborhood)

We are aiming for 32 people - space is limited so sign up now!

For those of you who have been in the past, this is usually a very fun night of poker and camaraderie and helps raise funds for Burley School. For those new to it, come give it a shot and try your luck!

We will also be hosting the regular spring tournament in a few months (looking like early June, plenty of time to lick your wounds after February), details to come at the upcoming Winter Party.

Our goals/motives with the February event are threefold:

1) As always, it's for the kids…
2) Have some fun
3) Spreading the word across all of the classes, K-8 -- and we could use your help with that.

Format will be the same as in years past-$125 buy-in, typical multi-table tournament structure with increasing blinds throughout the night. Unlimited buy-backs (for the kids) for the first few hours. Side games for those who have been eliminated.

BYOB (we will have some big coolers available to keep stuff cold) and I will have some bottles of bourbon open for public consumption as well.
