Spring 2023 FSA Benefit Auction

Each year, The Friends School of Atlanta Parent and Teacher Association (FSPATA) holds its annual fundraising gala for The Friends School of Atlanta, raising nearly $40,000 to support our beloved school, its faculty, staff, and students, and educational programming. This year's 32nd annual benefit auction event will include an online auction from February 19 to March 5, 2023 with an in-person community celebration and live auction event on the evening of March 4th. The in-person celebration will take place from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the Atlanta Friends Meeting meetinghouse located in Decatur, GA.
In-person event highlights include buffet-style dining from Ford's BBQ, southern bites with a Mexican twist, specialty cocktails, a live auction, Fund-a-Need, and a special performance by Amy Ray, Georgia-bred musician and co-founder of Indigo Girls-the seminal folk duo now in their fifth decade.
The theme of this year's event is Light Up the Night and reflects a particularly special year as we celebrate our own community's luminary, Waman French, who has served as the founding Head of School for FSA for nearly 32 years. Proceeds raised from the Light Up the Night gala ensure the school continues to thrive with its exceptional faculty and staff, a diverse student body, a robust financial aid program and a progressive curriculum, in addition to supporting future FSPATA programming and events.
