RYC Gala 2022

Join us for our 2022 RYC Gala. It's been 2 years since we've last gotten together at Hudson Yards and we are looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

This year we're honored to have some special guests from the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) including Frank T. Burbrink, Curator-in-Charge, Department of Herpetology. We have been fortunate to have Frank and his colleagues participate in our STEAM programs and look forward to having them at the gala.

Some of the Renaissance students will share their stories about how the organization impacted their lives. To get a true sense of the organization there is nothing better than hearing about how meaningful their experiences have been to their growth and well-being.

And in true RYC Gala tradition, the MWAM band will again perform fan favorites and some of their new original music.

Also at the RYC Gala we'll have a book raffle and a silent auction which includes tickets to shows and sporting events, a Cape Cod retreat, jewelry, photographs, artifacts, original art by some Renaissance kids, and much more! You can bid online now.

COVID precautions: All guests must show proof of full vaccinations (two doses of Pfizer, Moderna vaccines or one dose of J&J vaccine) OR if you are not vaccinated we ask that you wear a mask at all times.

Casual/business attire recommended.

East Lobby Entrance located on 10th Avenue and 30th Street - once inside, proceed up the left escalator directly into the Tapestry Lobby
West Lobby Entrance located on the Highline. This entrance can be accessed from the highline itself from the South or West. If coming from the 7 train, walk south past THE SHOPS and The Vessel, and enter via the West Plaza entrance, just before the highline, directly into the Tapestry Lobby

About Renaissance Youth Center

Renaissance Youth Center, now in its 21st year is a vital fixture in the community, serving predominantly the Bronx, with some outposts in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The dedicated staff provides enrichment through music, STEAM education, afterschool programs, tutoring, and civic engagement programming to over 4,000 young people each week, bringing a sense of hope, belonging, and personal development.

We are committed to expanding the sense of what a positive community brings to our lives, and ensuring these young people grow into responsible, successful citizens. The programs run year-round. We are forever indebted to our supporters who make everything possible.
