We are proud to announce we will award Meg Kane, President and CEO of Signature 57 and Host City Executive for Philadelphia Soccer 2026, with Starfinder's Visionary Leader Award in honor of our founder, Tony Williams.
Meg's commitment to the future of the Philadelphia region, is one that embodies the goals of our founder, Tony, in his belief that soccer is a powerful tool for youth development.
The tireless efforts of Meg - and the entire Philadelphia Soccer 2026 Board and team -were instrumental in Philadelphia's successful bid to be a host city for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™. Since joining the effort in 2019, she has served as the liaison between the City, key partners/venues, and FIFA, focusing on the development of the City's narrative case for hosting and the delivery of all technical responses for the bid. Now, as Host City Executive, Meg leads the operationalization of the Host City Committee, which is responsible for ensuring the successful hosting of World Cup matches at Lincoln Financial Field, a 30-day Fan Fest, welcoming nearly a half million visitors to Philadelphia, and more, in the summer of 2026.
Meg is a true champion for Philadelphia and FIFA World Cup 2026™ will have a lasting impact on Philadelphia youth and the Starfinder mission!
