Walk a Mile in My Shoes
A Foster Care Walk Benefitting Fostering Together Gulf Coast
Saturday, May 21st at The Grounds in Mobile
Vendor Set-up at 8:00 AM
Walk Check-In Begins at 8:30 AM
Charity Walk Begins at 9:00 AM
Family Activities 9:00 AM-11:00 AM
Gather your family and friends and join us for a fun 1 mile walk benefitting Fostering Together Gulf Coast.
Register as an individual or family, then become a champion by rallying your people to sponsor you as you walk to raise awareness and funding for foster care support.
Participants are asked bring a new pair of children's shoes to donate the morning of the walk. We're hoping to have a pair of shoes to represent each child in foster care in our community - 476 pairs of shoes lined up along the walk route as a visual representation of the children in foster care in Mobile.
At the end of the walk, join us for refreshments and kid-friendly activities.
