2022 NOFLA Racing for the Roses

A MESSAGE FROM OUR EVENT CO-CHAIRS

On Saturday, May 7, 2022, we will host our 17th annual Spirit of Youth Gala,

albeit with a new twist as we celebrate Racing for the Roses, "derby style," at the

majestic venue, The Space at Feather Oaks. We hope you will join us in supporting

and celebrating the work of Boys Town North Florida. It's a place where despair

becomes hope, anger is transformed into understanding and psychological wounds

are healed so that families can live happier, healthier and more productive lives.

When Father Edward J. Flanagan founded the original Boys Town in Omaha,

Nebraska more than 100 years ago, he did so because he believed that "to save the

man, one must first save the boy." For the past 39 years, Boys Town North Florida

has been saving children and healing families throughout the region. With our

whole-family approach, we are uniquely qualified to work with both parents and

children, healing broken families so they can reunite and strengthening distressed

families so they can stay together.

The need for Boys Town's services in our community is great and growing. Of

course, this important work requires ongoing financial support. If you are a current

sponsor, we thank you for your continuing commitment and ask that you consider

new ways to partner with us to help even more children and families achieve their

goals. If you are a past supporter, or are just learning about Boys Town North

Florida, we invite you to join our mission so we can continue to heal families and

change the lives of at-risk youth in our community.
