Kevin O'Brien Studio is a Philadelphia-based textile company. Just across town in South Philly, we have built our own textile manufacturing facility. Fifty-percent artist's studio and fifty-percent factory, it's where we create the majority of our textiles and ship them to buyers around the world. Now, for the first time in our 25 years, we've opened a retail establishment in the Rittenhouse neighborhood. We share a space within the Joan Shepp store at 1811 Chestnut where we show our bedding, pillows, mosaics, and furniture. The remnants of all this cutting and sewing are repurposed as one-of-a-kind stuffed animals. You should stop in to see these cuties! Fabrics that we cannot make ourselves, we make in the world's most acclaimed textile countries - Portugal, Italy, Nepal, and India. Decorators nationwide come to us for a look that they can get nowhere else, and now our fellow Philadelphians can too!
