The Little Black Dress Initiative is an awareness and fundraising campaign that illustrates the restrictions poverty places on choices, opportunities, and access to resources.
It sheds light on the many choices we are fortunate to make every morning... what we want to wear to school or work and what we want for breakfast.

However, many families in our very own community do not have the opportunity to make these choices.

October 16 is World Food Day!

Every day the Junior League of St. Petersburg works toward the end goal of ensuring no child has to question where their next meal is coming from or when they will eat again.

We are just one piece of a much larger puzzle. While it is present in our very own community, it is a global issue. Our efforts in St. Petersburg ladder up to statewide, national, and even international change for the better.
