The DJO Dads Club Holy Water Collection!
It's been a long cold winter but the DJO Dads Club has got you covered with One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer! Sit down by the fire, put on some music,* and enjoy a relaxing drink from a fine collection selected and donated by the DJO Dads Club.
- Benjamin Prichard's Double Barreled Bourbon. Made of a mash bill of white corn, rye, and wheat, this fine Tennessee bourbon is aged for nine years, cut from 120 proof to 95 proof, and re-barreled in new charred oak barrels for several more years. Tasting notes: Sweet notes of vanilla and honey. Initial palate is rich and flavorful with touches of caramel, butterscotch, vanilla and toffee. Finish is mellow and ends with a spicy kick.
- Ardbeg Uigeadail Single Malt Scotch. Pronounced "Oog-a-dal," this epic single malt is named for the loch that provides fresh water to the Ardbeg distillery on the Scottish Isle of Islay. Tasting notes: Bold notes of salted peanut butter, peat smoke, tobacco, worn, oiled leather, very dark roast coffee, and cayenne pepper with a deep, wide, dark, and lush palate. The finish transitions seamlessly with the smoke and peat mingling with a salty sweetness.
- St. Bernardus ABT 12 Beer. As a gesture of appreciation to Bishop Burbidge for his recent visit to the DJO Dads Club, we've selected a beer brewed by the Trappist monks of St. Bernardus Abbey in Belgium. The monks modestly characterize it as one of the best beers in the world and who are we to argue? It's dark with a robust head, a fruity aroma, and complex tastes that stand out through its long, bittersweet finish. The monks tell us that it's an ideal partner for rich beef and game, blue cheese, or chocolate.
Your selection includes a Whiskey Stones and Whisky Glass Gift Boxed Set with granite chilling whisky rocks, crystal glasses, and coasters in a wooden presentation box.
