Barn in the Ballroom 2022

Heartland Farm Sanctuary's signature Barn in the Ballroom Gala is back on May 6, 2022 at the fabulous Edgewater Hotel. Be part of a fundraiser that is fun, friendly, & just a little bit feathery! VIP pre-party starts at 5:30, general doors open at 6:30 PM.

Your support ensures we'll reach our critical $130,000 goal for the evening, allowing more children to benefit from our therapy and humane education programs, and more rescued farm animals to experience healing and kindness.

The needs of our community are growing by leaps and bounds, and so are we! We are so excited to share the next chapter of the Heartland story with you-attending the Gala guarantees you'll be the first to hear it!

Plus: Purchase a VIP ticket and you'll enjoy an exclusive VIP pre-party with cocktails, appetizers, and photo ops with our rescued farm animals. There's also a spectacular silent auction, a truly scrumptious meal (more info on that below!), and a not-at-all boring program. Really, we promise!

What's the dress code, you ask? If you're so 'mooved', may we suggest a black & white look in tribute of our rescued cow, Daisy? (That's her in the Gala logo!)

When you purchase your ticket, make sure to choose your dinner selection. The Edgewater's Chef Stephen is creating two incredible plant-based dishes for the evening: 

1. Pan seared cauliflower steak over a spread of parsnip puree and red wine demi glaze with garlic-infused spinach and caramelized leeks (gluten-free)

2. Hearty farro risotto made with spring vegetables from the Dane County Farmers' Market.
