Home Games takes place Friday, October 29th at Sodo Park, 3200 1st Avenue South, Seattle, WA, USA
Doors open at 6 PM, with program starting at 6:30.
Dinner and drinks will be available for in-person guests when doors open.
Please remember to bring your proof of vaccination, photo ID, or a 72 hour negative PCR COVID test result, as well as keeping a mask on when you are not actively eating or drinking.
Costume contest:
In-person guests will have their pictures taken by our volunteers for consideration in the costume contest.
Off-site guests are invited to email [email protected] with 1) a picture of their entire team together, and 2) pictures of individuals in costume for consideration in the costume contest. Please make sure you identify your team in the email to Patrick.
Silent Auction
The Silent Auction will open the day of the event and will close at the end of Home Games at 8:55 PM. Please note that if you are not receiving text messages about Home Games and the silent auction, you can register your phone number and opt in to receiving texts by sending the message HomeGames to 76278.
COVID Protocols at Sodo Park
Vaccinations are required for in-person play. The current protocols for gatherings at SoDo Park include limiting the total number of tables/people to allow for social distancing, all servers and staff will wear masks, all guests will wear masks when not eating or drinking. Additional information available upon request. COVID protocols may change over time. All guests will be updated as those changes occur.

Participate and Play: How to get involved with Home Games 2021
1. Buy a Ticket and Play: In-person ticket-holders will receive a delicious BBQ buffet dinner and complimentary drink. Vie for trivia supremacy from home or in-person at SoDo Park, just south of Lumen Field. Each member of the winning trivia team receives an exciting prize package! Best Team Name winners also get a prize! And individuals can enter our costume contest as well! All player and donor payments are tax-deductible donations to Homestead. 2. Buy a Clue/Support a Team: Can't join us? You can support your favorite team by buying them clues. See team pages below to buy clues for your favorite team! They're going to need them! Your team will be credited the number of clues purchased for them at the beginning of trivia. They will be able to redeem the clues when presented with trivia question that has them stumped during game play.
3. Volunteer: Be a clue maven, or support the expert team behind the scenes that makes it all run smoothly. Contact Lisa to learn about volunteer opportunities: [email protected]
Playing Trivia with Your Team
- Teams: Home Games is played in teams of up to six. In-person guests will play with their table team. Individuals who sign up for remote play option may be combined into teams for the trivia. We will reach out to let you know if you have been assigned to a team prior to the event.
- Tech: We will play Home Games online via a livestream platform with Coach Carrie and in-person attendees at SoDo Park.
- Playing In Person or At Home, you will need two team members with web-enabled cell phones - one to record your team's answers into score sheets. If you're playing from home, you'll also get your clues by text. Plan ahead for how to "meet" as a team -- in person or using an app like Facetime or Zoom combined with a screen to watch the livestream.
- If your team needs a clue, playing in person, you'll raise your hand and yell "I need a clue" and a masked clue maven will assist you. If you are playing at home will send a phone text message to your remote clue maven, who will text you back a response. Remote mavens will be assigned to teams at the beginning of the night.
- There will be three rounds of trivia, 10 questions each. The questions get more difficult with each round.
- If there is a team tie at the end of three rounds, the teams will compete in a sudden-death faceoff until a final winner is victorious.
- There can be only One Trivia Champion per year!
For Those Playing from Home
Play online live-streamed using the GiveSmart platform. You can decide how how your team connects to play. Options include your own Zoom/Teams account or Facetime (you'll need a separate screen for the livestream), or in person in a well-ventilated setting.
