ABOUT THE EVENT

Las Vegas Raiders tight end, Darren Waller, is hosting his 3rd annual fundraising gala, 'Beyond the Wall', at Las Vegas's most scenic private jet hanger, All-In-Aviation/ Lone Mountain Aviation, Inc., on Monday, September 26th from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM PST. 

Guests of Beyond the Wall will have unprecedented access to Darren, local celebrities, and other Raiders legends during a star-studded VIP cocktail reception and open bar. A multi-course dinner will follow a lively event program. Once-in-a-lifetime experiences and rare memorabilia will highlight the event's silent and live auctions. To top it off, every attendee will go home with a Darren Waller signed Signature Series Raider football.

During the event, Darren will talk about the lives that have been transformed thanks to the Foundation's 'Against the Wall' addiction recovery grant program, and 'Wall Talks'. He will also share the Foundation's current and future plans in the Las Vegas community. 

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Darren Waller Foundation and its mission to support young adults in avoiding and overcoming addiction to drugs and alcohol.

OUR IMPACT: GRANT RECIPIENT TESTIMONIALS

The 'Against The Wall' grant/scholarship program is The Darren Waller Foundation's signature community outreach program. The foundation is partnered with local Las Vegas drug & addiction recovery organizations in order to discover who is most in need of rehabilitation treatment. The program provides grants of up to $18,500 to qualifying individuals/families who cannot afford to pay a portion, or the entirety of their 35-45-day stay, in in-patient and/or intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) for their addiction (adults ages 18-30). This includes individuals who do not have insurance. The program serves young adults living in Nevada and treatment takes place in Nevada addiction treatment facilities.

DARREN'S STORY

Darren's Why for leveraging his platform as a NFL player is to share his and others' experience with substance abuse to provide a safe, affirming, accepting, and encouraging environment for young adults (ages 18-30) and aid the prevention of substance misuse.
