About the Item
This California poppy flower pin is made from post-consumer recycled tin cans and sterling silver rivets.
Berman's work begins with post-consumer material diverted from a destiny as trash. The re-use of discarded materials addresses a spectrum of social and political issues. Bar codes and brand name images recycle our unconscious consumption of advertising, marketing, and possession as identification.
3.5" length x 3.5" height x 0.75" depth (including pin stem); 36 grams
