Captain Doug Parker

(860) 430-4463

Capacity: 6

Port: New London

Address: 80 Hamilton St. New London, CT

*PURCHASE INCLUDES ENTIRE BOAT*

Capt. Doug Parker has been fishing his whole life. His love for the water and the joy he and his crew have of helping people have a good time will genuinely manifest itself on every trip. The vessel Good Company II is a perfect fishing vessel with a cabin that boasts an "L" shaped cushioned bench that wraps around a table. This has been used for years as a place to share a meal, share some stories, and even an occasional nap! (We have pictures!). The sheltered cabin and the "kitchen table" atmosphere is a great feature of the boat. We use different methods to catch fish depending on the time of year and bait being eaten by the species, the weather, the tide, and the ability of our customers. Treat yourself to a good dose of history while heading out to the fish as there are many articles and pictures available for your enjoyment. Since we sail from the great "Captain Scott's Lobster Dock" our historical data pays particular attention to the life and accomplishments of Captain Thomas Scott.

If you need copies of anything we have, please let me know and I will make sure we forward you any particular article you have found to be of interest. Good Company II also has a crew that provides a welcoming and training attitude for those with absolutely no background in fishing. We love to teach and see newcomers have a great time. This includes younger fisherman too! If you have any special needs or concerns, please feel free to give the captain a call to discuss any of these needs personally. Finally, we know that you will have a great and memorable fishing trip with us. We are driven by results which include everything from catching quality fish to making sure our customers have a safe and enjoyable day on the water.
