Founded in 1976, Mountaineer Montessori is West Virginia's original and largest Montessori school, offering a premier, child-centered educational experience to 150+ students ages 3-14 right here in the heart of Appalachia.

 
"What the World Needs Now," the 2021 MMS Spring Gala, provides essential funding to help us meet the growing demand for high quality education options in our community and inspire the next generation of innovative thinkers, problem solvers, community builders and visionary leaders.

We invite you to join us on Saturday, June 5, 7:00-9:00 p.m., at Edgewood Country Club for an uplifting celebration of our special school community.

Edgewood's beautiful and spacious terrace will accommodate social distancing and other safety protocols, making it possible to return to an in-person format this year. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held in the Edgewood Ballroom. 

Reservations will be strictly limited to support health guidelines and best practices.  Ticket priority is one of the benefits that come with sponsorships.

The evening will feature entertainment by Vinyl Village and Minor Swing; passed hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages; and auctions of student art works and other exclusive prizes, hosted by Jim Strawn, master of ceremonies.
