Wheelchairs 4 Kids is a registered 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with physical disabilities by providing medical equipment, home and vehicle modifications, and other therapeutic aids they would otherwise be unable to afford through our Let's Roll Program. Many children living with physical disabilities are in wheelchairs that are too small, in disrepair, or do not fit the needs of the child. Often, children outgrow their wheelchairs before government or insurance programs will allow for a replacement, or necessary equipment is not covered by insurance. Additionally, families are faced with trying to care for their special needs children in homes and vehicles that have not been modified to meet their specific circumstances. We are working tirelessly to address this neglected need. 

We also have an inclusion program known as Wheely Fun Days, which is aimed at fostering community and socialization among our wheel kids. Once a family's request has been fulfilled, they are invited to join us for fun, confidence-building, extraordinary experiences, all at no cost to them and all adapted to be barrier-free for our wheel kids. Our kids have gone ziplining at Gatorland, played sled hockey with the Lightning sled hockey program, and have even gone waterskiing! They've been to WWE events, Rays games, and Bucs Training Camp. These outings give our kids the opportunity to do what they do best - BE KIDS!
