Get ready for the 2nd Annual Napa Valley Pickleball Classic!

The Second Annual Napa Valley Pickleball Classic isn't just a tournament - it's a celebration of community, connection, and collaborative action. Organized by a committee of local volunteers and representatives from the City of St. Helena Parks and Recreation Department and UpValley Family Centers, this event brings neighbors together for a day of play, fun, and shared purpose: ensuring that families in northern Napa Valley have the support and resources they need to thrive.
This two-day community event is open to the public and this year's tournament is doubling in size and fun!
Saturday will consist of pool play doubles matches with the following brackets: Ages 18-50 and Ages 50+, each divided by intermediate and advanced levels. The day will also feature free introductory clinics for pickleball learners, food trucks, and other fun activities for the community (more details coming soon). The Sunday tournament will consist of single-elimination finals featuring the winning teams from Saturday.

Tournament Information
8:00 am - 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 17, 2025 (Pool Play)
8:00 am - 12:00 pm on Sunday, May 18, 2025 (Single-Elimination Finals)
Crane Park Pickleball Courts, St. Helena, CA
This is a Round Robin Doubles Tournament with 4 different sessions of pool play on Saturday (May 17).
Each bracket will have 16 teams with all teams in the bracket playing each other.
Each team is guaranteed at least 3 matches.
Advancing teams from each bracket will play single-elimination final rounds on Sunday (May 18)
The brackets are broken up by skill level and age.
Intermediate Level group Ages 18-50
Intermediate Level group Ages 50+
Advanced Level group Ages 18-50
Advanced Level group Ages 50+

*Advanced players may only play in the advanced bracket. If a team consists of an intermediate player and an advanced player, the team must play in the advanced bracket.
*If your team consists of players in both age brackets, the team must play in the 18-50 age bracket. If both players on a team are in the 50+ age bracket, the team may choose to register for either the 18-50 or 50+ bracket.
The cost of the tournament is $150 per team. You must register as a team.
100% of registration fees go directly to supporting UpValley Family Centers' programs and services that help ensure every member of our community has access to the tools and opportunities they need to thrive.
In the event of inclement weather (either high temperatures or rain), the NVPC Planning Committee will follow official health guidance from the City of St. Helena Parks and Recreation Division and Public Safety Officer (Fire Chief).

Celebrating its 25th year, UpValley Family Centers exists to advance equity and opportunity for youth and families. Its programs support well-being by reducing access barriers, elevating community leaders, and creating a more inclusive, resilient Napa Valley.
