The Saint Margaret of Scotland auction is the largest contributor to our operating budget outside of tuition. Funds raised help to cover teacher salaries, facility maintenance, textbooks, supplies, and more.
It is our hope that with the generous support of our community, we can build the foundation for another 125 years at Saint Margaret of Scotland.

What should I wear?
The attire is festive cocktail, so get into the theme. Ready to rock a kilt? Go for it! Plaid and tartans are the name of the game.
Tell me more about the Mass…
Archbishop Rozanski will celebrate a special 125th anniversary Mass at the SLUH chapel, which will include concelebrants that you may recognize. While this is a great honor, attendance is optional. Those attending Mass should arrive for registration at 4:45 p.m. If you choose not to attend Mass, general registration will open at 5:30 p.m. in the SI Commons.
Is this a gala or an auction?
Both. There will be silent and live auctions. We'll also dance and have dinner.
Will this event be fun?
Heck yeah it will be fun! Not only will we be raising important funds for our school, we're gonna have a party! Bring your dancing shoes, because DJ Dope Mike from Platypus will be spinning.
What's for dinner? Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions?
Haggis only. Just kidding! This year's event includes a full buffet dinner, with vegetarian and gluten free options. If you have a special dietary need, please contact [email protected] before the event and we'll make best efforts to accommodate.
Do I eat free if I volunteer?
Event night volunteers and student volunteers will be provided with pizza. If you wish to volunteer and then sit at a table and enjoy the buffet dinner, we ask that you purchase a ticket. Special ticket pricing is available for teachers and staff.
Is this an open bar?
Beer, wine, non-alcoholic and soft drinks will be available to all guests. Liquor is available for VIP tables and Presenting/Gold Coin sponsors. Please drink responsibly and make a plan to get home safely.
Can I drink what I win at the liquor/wine pull?
Please don't open bottles won at the liquor and wine pulls. There will be plenty available to drink at the bar.
Where do I sit?
If you purchase a VIP table OR are a Presenting/Gold Coin sponsor, a table will be assigned to you and you can choose who sits with you. If you purchase individual tickets, there will be open seating.
Can I pay by check?
This is a cashless event. If you want to make a donation before the event, you can mail a check to the parish office, but electronic payments are preferred.
How can I be a helpful guest?
Give generously! It is tremendously helpful if you complete your registration online before coming to the event. You'll receive plenty of reminders from GiveSmart. Don't forget to take home any purchased items the night of the event. THANK YOU!
