The Annual Vince Lombardi Award of Excellence Dinner, held in a sold-out ballroom buzzing with hope and purpose, recognizes individuals who capture the spirt of commitment and pursuit of excellence which define legendary Green Bay Packers Coach Vince Lombardi. This year's honorees, Mason & Molly Crosby, are fueled by the same desire as event attendees and the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation to prevent cancer, provide the best care to those fighting it, and find a cure.
Funds raised during this unforgettable, black-tie event will directly support cancer research and treatments, celebrating the legacy of Coach Lombardi in the fight against cancer.
For our 34th event, we're excited to introduce a new Private VIP After Party following the award ceremony, located in the Pfister Hotel's Mezzanine, overlooking the lobby. Sponsors and their VIP guests will enjoy exclusive access to a lively atmosphere to continue celebrating after the event, complete with a bar and space to hang out with Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation board members and others.
Dr. David Margolis
2025 Champion for a Cure Award Recipient
In addition to honoring Mason & Molly for their national contributions, local leader Dr. David Margolis will be recognized at the Award of Excellence Dinner on March 1 with the first-ever Champion for a Cure Award from the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation. This inaugural award honors local leaders who embody Coach Vince Lombardi's spirit of commitment and excellence in the fight against cancer.
Dr. Margolis, or "Dr. Dave" as his patients call him, is pediatrician-in-chief at Children's Wisconsin and chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Leading medical journals have published his research, and his compassionate care has earned him recognition as one of the Best Doctors in America and Milwaukee Magazine's Top Doctors. Dr. Dave is often referred to as a Milwaukee Bucks superfan and he is well known for having his patients, and other patients at Children's Wisconsin, spray paint his hair Bucks' green during the Bucks playoffs every year.
