THE ACADEMY WEARS PINK FUNDRAISER DETAILS
Join us for a vibrant 5K walk, run, or bike event as The Academy Charter School Wears Pink to raise awareness and support for Breast Cancer. Our mission is to raise crucial funds for individuals battling the disease and to honor those who have been impacted by it. Show your support by purchasing a pink hoodie, t-shirt, socks, tote bag, or simply by making a donation to this worthy cause. (Merchandise available while supplies last!) Wear Pink Day Network Wide is October 18, 2024.

Saturday, October 19th | 6:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Uniondale Campus: 100 Charles Lindbergh Blvd, Uniondale, NY 11553
How to Participate:
- Choose a time slot that works best for you and get ready to walk, run, or bike!
- Wear any pink items you've purchased to show your support and solidarity.
- We invite all scholars, staff members, their families, and the community to join us as we come together for this meaningful event.
Please Note:
Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time to check in and receive your wristband. Check-in first, then begin your walk.
Merchandise Purchases:
- Building Location: Choose the correct building location during checkout to ensure smooth and timely delivery. A sales representative will be on-site for one day at each location for distribution or additional purchases. (All pre-purchases require a paid receipt.)
- Multiple Scholars: If you have more than one scholar, select a single building location for delivery.
Sales Policy:
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued.
Important Event Information:
- Free Parking: Available at the Mitchel Field Parking Lot. Please note, parking on school grounds is NOT permitted.
- Check-in: Please check in upon arrival.
- Recommended Laps: We encourage participants to complete 2-3 laps. (2 laps = 5K)
- Light Refreshments: Enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks during the event.
