This inspiring luncheon event begins with our sparkling wine reception and kickoff of this year's holiday season with a festival of trees and silent auction hour. Next, we'll invite you into the ballroom for a plated lunch and a special setting together where we will highlight the unique challenges of women experiencing homelessness and celebrate their strength and resilience. We will continue with the privilege of honoring amazing women who impact their communities through compassion and dedication.

THIS YEAR WE ARE PRIVILEGED TO HONOR 

 Dr. Geeta Grover, M.D., FAAP

Dr. Geeta Grover is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UC Irvine and a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician at the UCI Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. With over 30 years of experience, her work focuses on ADHD, autism, and learning disabilities, with a strong passion for health equity and addressing social factors like housing and food insecurity. She advocates for children's reading development to close educational gaps and break cycles of poverty. Dr. Grover serves on numerous professional boards and nonprofit organizations, including the Illumination Foundation, where she champions healthcare access for homeless children.

Dr. Kelly Bruno-Nelson, DSW 

Kelly Bruno-Nelson is the Executive Director of Medi-Cal/CalAIM at CalOptima Health, overseeing the development of the state's CalAIM program. With over 25 years of experience serving vulnerable populations, she has held leadership roles in healthcare and nonprofits, including as President and CEO of the National Health Foundation. Kelly's background includes work in intergenerational programs, nursing homes, and hospital-based social work. She holds degrees in social work from Azusa Pacific University, CSU Long Beach, and a Doctorate from USC.
