Come celebrate the 7th annual Chocolate Fest sponsored by Advocate Radiation Oncology and The Port Charlotte Town Center Mall. 100% of proceeds from this event will benefit the Children's Cancer Center! At the Chocolate Fest, you can visit various participating local vendors and taste chocolate confections and speciality creations! Grab your to-go box, provided by Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota, and begin to fulfill those chocolate cravings.
Some of this year's food vendors include tastings from local restaurants, country clubs, and bakeries in the Port Charlotte area. Last year, Chocolate Fest raised over $5,000 for the immediate needs of local children and their families battling pediatric cancer.

About the Children's Cancer Center:
The Children's Cancer Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children and their families who are battling pediatric cancer or chronic blood disorders with emotional, financial, and educational support needed to cope with life-threatening illnesses.
With 30 support programs and services currently helping over 5,000 children and their family members, support is offered to all members of the family and is available throughout every step of their difficult journey.
Children's Cancer Center was founded in 1974. Mac and Cecile Burnett, who lost their daughter Helen to leukemia, and Dr. Janifer M. Judisch envisioned an organization that would help alleviate the stress of coping with a child's life-threatening disease.
The philosophy of our original founders was that when a child is diagnosed, the entire family is really diagnosed. Therefore, our programs and services address the needs of all family members affected.
