FHTC's "The Cut" Competition 2024
October 10th, 2024, 6pm
Presented by
The Cut is a three-round culinary competition putting 4 student chefs to the test against each other and the clock. The chefs will be working in FHTC's recently renovated culinary arts kitchens. They will be presented with a basket full of mystery ingredients at the start of each round. They will have a limited amount of time to create a dish with those ingredients, and one chef will be "cut" after each round until a winner is declared.
The Cut Watch Party will be from 6-9 p.m. in our outdoor tent on the Flint Hills Technical College's main campus, west of the Metcalf Building. The chefs are filmed in action and live streamed to the watch party tent by students of FHTC's Multimedia Design program. Watch party attendees will view the competition live while enjoying a selection of hors d'oeuvres prepared by FHTC Culinary Arts students. A cash bar will also be available courtesy of Radius Brewing Co. Chuck Samples, KVOE News Director, will be back as the emcee of this event.
Event tickets will not be issued. New this year! You can avoid the race to get a seat by purchasing a reserved table or 8.
