Cubs vs Cardinals Weekend Ticket Giveaway

In conjunction with the exhibit, "Baseball", the Springfield Art Association is giving away a weekend ticket package to one lucky winner to both Cubs vs. Cardinals games in Chicago the weekend of August 3 - 4. The winner will receive three tickets to the Saturday game and three tickets to the Sunday game. Chances to win will go on sale Saturday, June 29 and close during the art exhibit opening reception on Friday, July 12 at 6:30 PM.  Winners will be drawn at 7 PM. Official raffle rules below

OFFICIAL RAFFLE RULES:

All raffle tickets purchased online at springfieldart.org by 6:30 p.m. CST on July 12, 2024, are automatically entered in the Cubs/Cardinals tickets raffle. Internet and in-person sales of raffle tickets are OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF ILLINOIS ONLY. Raffle tickets can also be purchased in-person at the BASEBALL exhibit reception on July 12, 2024. Raffle tickets may be purchased by individuals who are 21 years of age or older. Raffle is void in states where prohibited by law.

Purchasing tickets: Raffle tickets may be purchased for five dollars ($5.00) each, 5 for twenty dollars ($20.00), or 12 for fifty dollars ($50.00) by eligible persons (see above) from June 29, 2024 12:01 a.m. CST until July 12, 2024 6:30 p.m. CST. Sale of raffle tickets either at the event or online may be suspended or stopped at any time at the sole discretion of the Springfield Art Association.

Eligibility: Any legal residents of Illinois can enter the Cubs/Cardinals ticket raffle. Void where prohibited by law.

Selection and notification of winner: A winner will be drawn on July 12, 2024 at 7 p.m. CST. Entries will not be accepted after 6:30 p.m. CST on July 12, 2024. The winner will be selected by random drawing and need not be present to claim prize. Winner will be notified by telephone or email. As a condition of being awarded the tickets, winner must claim tickets by August 2, 2024.

General: By participating in the Cubs/Cardinals ticket raffle, the participant agrees that Springfield Art Association (SAA) and related organizations, their agents, and employees have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the prize or by participation in the contest. PRIZE IS NON-TRANSFERABLE AND CANNOT BE EXCHANGED FOR CASH. The SAA reserves the right to use the winner's name and likeness for publicity purposes without further compensation.

The Internal Revenue Service takes the position that no portion of the raffle ticket price will qualify as a charitable contribution for federal income purposes. The winner is responsible for paying all taxes and expenses relating to winning the prize. By participating in the raffle, the participant agrees to be bound by these official rules, and by all decisions of the contest judges.
