One in ten people will have a seizure in their lifetime and another one in twenty-six will be diagnosed with epilepsy.
Since 1954, the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County (EFSDC) has improved the lives of people affected by epilepsy through education, advocacy, research and connection. EFSDC provides all programs and services free of charge, including counseling, career development, advocacy information and referrals, as well as support groups for individuals, caregivers and families, and specialized programming for children, teens and young adults.
To support our mission and kick-off the holiday season, we are hosting the 31st Annual Gingerbread City Gala on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the San Diego Natural History Museum. This festive event features our nationally recognized gingerbread competition, live and silent auctions, interactive museum exhibits, in addition to a dinner and awards program.
This highly anticipated event brings together the area's most influential community advocates, leaders, medical experts and philanthropists to generate critical funding to support our mission. Our gingerbread competition brings media coverage throughout the region.
We invite you to join us in celebration of our 70th year of service to the San Diego community as an attendee, auction donor, sponsor or underwriter. Thank you for your support!
