RAISE YOUR BID 2024
You might have noticed that the Griswold House - the crown jewel of these historic grounds - is in dire need of a fresh coat of paint. She's peeling, flaking, and getting a bit shabby around the edges.
Miss Florence's boardinghouse is the very beating heart of our institutional core story - and caring for it with excellence must always be one of our highest priorities.
That's why we want to turn to our community for help. It's a project that will be parsed out over the next four years, require more than 50 gallons of paint, and will cost upwards of $180,000.
We are grateful that every dollar we raise will be matched by a $140,000 grant from the State through the Historic Restoration Fund at the CT Office of the Arts.
Raise Your Bid high to help us raise $50,000 to restore Miss Florence's home to its full glory!
