About our First Responders and Veterans Program!

In addition to our therapeutic riding program, Helping Horse offers a unique program designed around providing wellness to First Responders and Veterans in our community.

We are honored to offer first responders and veterans an opportunity to spend time at our peaceful farm while learning and building connections with horses. The program enables each participant to learn unmounted horsemanship skills with a focus on building an equine relationship with a chosen horse. The program aims to promote overall wellness by providing a space to relax, building self awareness of being mindful in the present moment through working with horses, and experiencing the positive effects of nature and being outside.

Your support ensures we can continue to offer this vital service free of charge for the heroes in our community who need it most.

Help us continue to offer and expand this program to these wonderful people who do so much for us!
