Please Note:
We WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING CASH OR CHECKS at the Fairgrounds for the race.
Show up at the Huron County Fairgrounds no later than 7:30 to get your swag bag with your race bib.
Michael H. Hay Endowment:
Music and Sciences, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM)
The Michael H. Hay Endowment for the Arts & Sciences has been established to honor Mike's engaging and giving spirit along with his love of music, academic excellence, and on-going commitment to giving back to the Norwalk community. Mike will always be remembered as someone who always made time to listen, teach, and mentor students in the Norwalk Catholic Schools. The Michael H. Hay Endowment fund will help upgrade facilities as well as the student experience, specifically in the areas of Music and Science.
It is the desire of the founders of the Michael H. Hay Endowment that the students of St. Paul school are inspired by Mike's life, his passion, his devotion to the liturgy, and his mission of service as they pursue their own academic careers and their spiritual growth.
Registration Information
Mapletree Road Race (MTRR) is in its 8th year!
Independence Day 5k!
This year's July 4th, 2024 Race is HYBRID, which means there will be both an In-Person race at the Huron County Fairgrounds along the parade route and a virtual race for anyone who cannot attend. Participating virtually means you can complete the 5k on any route you choose the week leading up to the race.
Important Dates:
Pre-Register by June 25!
- Register by June 25 in order to guarantee your t-shirt is ready for pickup on race day
- Determine how you will participate: In-Person or Virtual.
- Purchase additional 2024 MTRR T-Shirts for family or friends (optional)
- Enter a donation to the Michael H. Hay Endowment (optional)
- Pay for purchases/donations with a credit card
June 25 - July 4
- Virtual participants: Perform the exercise of your choice.
- In-person participants: Show up ready to race on July 4th at 7:30 AM at the Huron County Fairgrounds for an 8:00 AM start time!
- Registration can still take place from June 25th to July 4th, but we CANNOT guarantee your t-shirt will be available on race day. If we do not have your size available on July 4th, we will send you your T-shirt via mail.
July 4: Online Registration closes
July 8:
- Race T-Shirts will be mailed to Virtual participants of the 2024 MTRR
