Easterseals Arkansas is proud to announce Livia and George Dunklin, Jr., as the distinguished recipients of the 2024 Arkansan of the Year award. An esteemed accolade, the annual gala acknowledges exceptional leaders committed to enhancing the well-being of Arkansans through their dedication of time, talent and resources. Notable past recipients include key business leaders, governors and other prominent figures.
This year's event pays homage to the Homra family, close friends of the Dunklin's. Stacey and Allen Homra played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Easterseals developmental preschool and outpatient therapy center in Stuttgart. The center, named in their honor posthumously in 2021, marks its 20th anniversary this year, celebrating two decades of serving the children of the Grand Prairie region.
For 80 years, Easterseals Arkansas has provided exceptional services to empower children and adults with disabilities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. Easterseals is leading the way to 100% equity, inclusion, access through life-changing disability and community services. Services for individuals include developmental preschools in Little Rock and Stuttgart; speech-language, physical, and occupational therapy; independent living programs; and transition programs to promote and secure employment. www.eastersealsar.com

The breadth of Easterseals work is immense, to that end, each child that attends the Stacey & Allen Homra Child Development Center needs additional financial support which covers pre-kindergarten work and life-changing services. The below gift amounts allow a child to receive these services for a specific time period.
