Cento Amici is a community-based, member organization dedicated to providing need-based scholarship assistance to qualified students in New Jersey. Our mission is to enhance the educational opportunities for those who need it most and who are most under-served by existing need-based programs. Cento Amici has contributed over $2,000,000 directly to New Jersey scholarships, and an endowed fund for future scholarships. On June 10th, 2024, Cento Amici will host its 36th Annual Thomas W. Zito Memorial Golf Classic at Maplewood Country Club.

Maplewood Country Club is a unique gem of a golf course, only a stone's throw from New York City. It was founded in 1903 on the former Roosevelt Estate. The course was designed by, Alfred Williams, prominent greens keeper and protégé of renowned course architect and two-time British Open champion, Willie Park. Since 1911, the course has largely stayed the same and maintains its vintage appeal. Many of the unique nuances are also found in several prominent U.S. golf courses, including the well-known Atlantic City Country Club and Woodway Country Club in Connecticut, both designed by Park and Williams.

Cento Amici chose Maplewood Country Club not only for the fun element of the course, but also for its reputation as having the best food of any club in New Jersey. Please come join us for a great day on the course to help fund scholarships for deserving students and be sure to stick around after golf for a phenomenal cocktail hour and a truly delectable dinner.
