SHERMAN PHOENIX | PDCF's 2024 & 2025 Signature Project
Professional Dimensions Charitable Fund is proud to partner with the Sherman Phoenix Foundation for Women and Moms Network, committing $100,000 to the project. The Imprint Award event serves as the primary fundraiser for this project. Funds are donated through sponsorship, ticket sales and a silent auction. These contributions serve local female entrepreneurs and their businesses through coaching, support, and funding.
Since its founding in 2018, the Sherman Phoenix has seen over 10,000 customers, hosted over 250 community programs and events, and provided 100 pop-up business opportunities. Impressively, 89% of Sherman Phoenix's founding businesses remain open after five years, compared to the national average of only 20% of Black-owned business remaining open after the first 18 months.
Sherman Phoenix exists, in large part, thanks to the collective power of women. It is a natural fit that the Professional Dimensions Charitable Fund chose to support the Sherman Phoenix Foundation's Women and Mom's Entrepreneurship Network (WMEN) this year as the signature project. WMEN curates support and resources for entrepreneurial women such as business accelerator classes, an entrepreneurial help desk, mentorship, mental health support, and more.
