Changing Destinies 2024 

With every sunrise comes hope for a bright new day - join us for an evening that brings hope to the lives of so many.

We look forward to our 2024 Changing Destinies event in September and we hope that you will join us this year.   Last year's event was a success raising more than $130,000 which helps us to continue to meet our clients where they are and provide all the services they need to get back on the right track.

Our guests enjoyed a fun night of food, fellowship, and fundraising! One of our clients joined us on stage to share her story on how Coleman Health Services has changed her life through our Personal Assistance Grants. These emergency grants help our clients when times are tough so they can keep on the right track and focus on their mental health journey.

At the event, we will be honoring an individual and an organization that has demonstrated our mission of improving the lives of others.

As you can see, this is an impactful evening raising money to change the destinies of the clients we serve.

Frequently Asked Questions 

 

Do I have to register?
Yes, to be able to purchase items, raffle tickets or make a donation you will have to register on the GiveSmart site.


I am not available the evening of the event can I make a donation instead?
Yes, we appreciate donations in lieu of ticket purchases. all you need to do is click on the donate button and follow the prompts.


How will we find out who won the raffle?
We will announce the winner the night of the event.  In the case the person is not in attendance, they will receive an email.  A Coleman staff member will then call within 24 hours of the event to arrange pick up/delivery. You must purchase a ticket to be eligible for the drawing.
 

How do I pay for my item once I win?
We require that you put a credit card on file when bidding on items for an easy, quick check out. Any credit or debit card will work. At the end of the night on 9/19, you will be able to go to your activity and check out with just a few clicks! If you prefer to pay by check, please reach out to Cathy Zinn ([email protected]) for information on how to send in your payment.

 

How does the silent auction work?
We will be using mobile bidding the night of the event for our auction. You will be able to use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to keep up with the status of your bids and continue bidding until the auction closes. 

 

How do I participate in the online bidding auction?
Get started online through this auction page. Just hit the 'Register Now' button towards the top of this page and enter your name, phone number, e-mail. Credit Card information is required to bid.

 

How do I start and continue my bidding?
Browse the Silent Auction and start bidding on your favorite items! Place your bid on selected items, set a maximum bid if desired, and GiveSmart will continue to keep you in the running until you reach your maximum bid.  

 

How can I keep active and know if I am outbid or have won an item?
You will be notified via text if you have been outbid. Keep an eye on your favorite items! If you are NOT receiving the text messages make sure you have the correct mobile number under your profile. The texts will continue to notify you when you have been out bid or reached your maximum bid. When the silent auction closes, you will also receive a text message if you won any items.


Tech Support will be available to help you should you have any problems with the website.


How will I collect my winnings?
Auction winners are required to make payment the night of the event. Please note that you will have the choice to either pay credit card fees yourself or allocate them to Coleman Heath Services.  If you are at the event please pick up your item and take to check-out.  For those that bid on items that do not attend the live event, they can pick up their auction items at Coleman Health Services office at 5982 Rhodes Road in Kent.  The pick up dates and times are listed below.

September 20 and September 23 to 27
