Every mother and every baby should have the chance to be healthy. REACHUP supports women and families at the most risk of having poor pregnancy outcomes by providing programs that support motherhood, fatherhood, and family-hood.
Did you know?:
- In 2022, the maternal death rate in Hillsborough County was 34 deaths per 100,000 live births, more than twice the state average and significantly higher that the national rate of 22 deaths per 100,000 live births.
- REACHUP reduced the infant mortality rate by 40% during a five year period in the areas we serve.
- 31% of Hillsborough County residents live in poverty, creating natural barriers to achieving good health.
Every contribution is important. Here are some of the ways that your gift can help:
$10: Transportation for clients to attend care appointments.
$25: Can provide a pregnancy kit with educational literature, diapers and baby wipes.
$50: Can provide a pregnancy pillow, blood pressure monitor.
$100: Can provide scholarships to the Affirming Fatherhood Conference.
$500: Can provide up to 10 home visitations by a certified doula.
$1,000: Can provide 10 nurse home visitations or 12 months of family rewards for the community consortium.
$5,000: Can provide 25 men with support and training through the Male Involvement Network
