About the artist: Born in Bogota/Colombia, Harold Rubio is a plastic artist who bets on the avant-garde with an unconventional technique, by using plasticine in his works, a material that, unlike paint, provides a unique texture that gives life to the most impressive works, and that combine modern and classical art, nature and the Eurocentric aesthetic, personal experiences and the appropriation of notorious exponents of art. Each work reflects his experiences, turning his work into an integral part of his personal life.

Harold Rubio is a visual artist, lecturer and expert in cultural projects. He has a degree in Arts from the National Pedagogical University, he was one of the 30 artists chosen for the exhibition "Animals in Contemporary Art" version 2023-2024, which will be held at Kunsthalle Darmstadt German.
