You can bid to have a home concert with the Double Down Daredevils Bluegrass band! This is a highly regarded bluegrass band that is become very popular throughout the Midwest. They are a Minnesota based 6-member band playing Bluegrass and Americana music with a special emphasis on 2-, 3- and 4-part vocal harmonies. Host it in your home or backyard, or a place of your choosing. This highly entertaining group will play a 75-90 minute performance and fill your space with beautiful sounds (ambient music with no sound system). Don't miss this rare opportunity to enjoy some wonderful bluegrass tunes.

Performance conditions must include not playing in rain and protection from the sun.

Learn to make your own pottery using a pottery wheel and create a unique piece of art!

Try your hand at making pottery at the Squeaky Wheel in downtown Hastings. Work with pottery expert Babett Larimer and learn from the Master. She will teach you how to turn a lump of clay into something beautiful. Includes firing and glazing of the finished products.
