About Classic Kids
We aren't just another photography company.
We're a special little family, born more than twenty-five years ago from the vision of a new mom in pursuit of her own happiness and passion. Julie Floyd, then a successful tax attorney, dreamt of a job where she could play with children and practice her art all while capturing treasured moments in people's lives. So she followed her dreams and never looked back.
One of the best things about Classic Kids is that every person on our team has this inherent happiness and passion.
Many a late night latte has been shared discussing the perfect peek a boo (you must hit that first syllable hard!) and debating the subtleties of the monkey antics most likely to elicit belly laughs.

Nafisa's 30-minute mini sessions in a Manhattan or Brooklyn location of your choice are perfect for families with small children! Her love for little humans helps set them at ease as she skillfully captures authentic, beautiful moments-in-time to cherish for years to come!
About the Photographer
Nafisa (or Fifi or Fee) is a lifestyle and portrait photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. She spent her childhood years growing up in Singapore, before moving to the southern Oregon coast with her family, and is now delighted to call New York home for the past 10 years. She started her photography business after her mother got very sick. As her mother neared the end of her life, she realized her family did not have many childhood photos of her mother and siblings. Lunar Brass Leaves | handmade Polymer Clay Earrings

About the Designer
Filthy Mari Atelier, an AAPI woman-owned small business, came to life during the pandemic in the founder's NYC kitchen. Marisa's usual work as an event contractor disappeared during lockdown and one day, after almost a year of trying to find her way, she decided to get curious and have fun. She invested in some supplies and let her creative and artistic side run wild, and as a girl whose time spent with Play-Doh, it's really paying off. She's so grateful to have found something to help her work through through anxieties. Now she has the space to make the things she loves that hopefully you will, too. Always made with love, care and attention to detail and thankfully now in a proper work area, she has since moved into the corner of her bedroom, where she made a corner office. This shop is eco-friendly, uses recyclable/reusable packaging, is minimum waste and donates a portion of proceeds to charity.
