DOB: 24 Feb 2023
SIRE: KSU LAND GRANT 153 ET
DAM: WERK RACHAEL 653 ET
Thank you for taking the time to view our offering, and what a way to start off our inaugural online sale. One of the first progeny of Land Grant, the $43,000 KSU record selling bull to sell, and certainly one of his best. She's the natural calf out of one of our best donors, Werk Rachael 653. 653 is a CRR Catapult daughter out of MSU Rachael 58Z, the full sister to MSU Revolution we selected out of the MSU dispersal along with Kevin Jensen. 58Z is the mother of KJ Contender and other herd bulls, along with heifers sold for $40,000 and $20,000 by us.
Extremely bold in her muscle and rib shape, she is very well balanced, sound footed, and conservatively marked along with a potent pedigree and a nice set of numbers. Show her competitively at the highest levels and then watch your investment pay off once she becomes a cow. Her type, pedigree, and EPDs will provide the opportunity to make high level show heifers, high quality bulls, and everything in between. Oh, and also make sure to take a look at her video. I probably could've just said that first and saved us all time.
Seller retaining the right to two flushes, minimum of 6 eggs per flush at the seller's expense and buyer's convenience.
All buyers from this sale will receive a free subscription to the record keeping app, HerdHolder, for the rest of 2023. Please visit the Facebook page or herdholder.com for more information.

Here is an outstanding maternal sister to lot 1. Sired by High Roller, you can see by this female, along with lots 3 and 6, that this mating worked. Huge bodied and very loose structured. Attractive, well made and fresh with just maybe a little more cow look than her sire always provides. This heifer calf has been very impressive from an early age. I guess I didn't have space to mention on lot 1 that 653 also produced a pen of 2296 full sisters that were popular division champions at the pen show in OKC in 2022.

A full sister to lot 2, really good in her own right even though she isn't exactly the same kind as her. Longer and more extended than her sister, this heifer has a bunch of look from the side. She also has just a touch more muscle and more width down her top and out of her hip. If you've made it this far, you've heard about what her mother has previously accomplished. 653 has had a good last couple of years.

Lot 4 is a maternal sister to KSU Land Grant, the $43,000 high seller from Kansas State, purchased by Delaney, Perez, and Dovarak. His first calf crop has created quite a stir with a limited number of calves. They are stout, high performance, well marked and attractive (see lot 1 in this sale). He is showing the ability to sire rugged commercial bulls as well show quality females and functional cow prospects.
354 is also a maternal sister to the $30,000 partial interest female that sold through the 2023 National sale in OKC to GKB. She raised an excellent SHF Houston daughter who will be retained for a future donor in the KSU Purebred Unit.
Lot 4 is stout and powerful, sound, long sided, well marked and attractive in her front 1/3. Lot 4 is owned by the KSU Purebred Beef Unit.

Lot 5 is sired by High Roller out of another outstanding donor, 423. One of Hutton 109Z's best daughters, 423 was third overall breeds at the 2015 KS State Fair. More importantly, she's an impressive female in production and has proven to be a true power cow. 323's full brother was our $10,000 high selling bull this past spring. Additionally, we sold an extremely impressive flushmate steer this fall privately to Lucky Strike Cattle Show Cattle. Look for big things from him in the future. He appears that he can be competitive at all levels.
323 has big time potential. Extremely attractive and long fronted. Extremely sound structured and deep sided. Extreme amount of high quality hair. Just a bit younger and maybe a tick greener than the rest of the offering, her best days certainly lay ahead in the right spot.
Seller retaining the right to two flushes, minimum of 6 eggs per flush at the seller's expense and buyer's convenience.

STEER - Horned Hereford
DOB: 10 Mar 2023
SIRE: CH HIGH ROLLER 756 ET
DAM: WERK RACHAEL 653 ET
A big time registered Hereford steer. He is a midwest state fair sized calf but is also that quality level. We feel he can compete within his breed and more at those events and has the potential to look outstanding at Jr Natls. Stout, powerful, and easy feeding; he's still very well balanced and sound.
You've already read through his mother's accomplishments at this point. Full brother to lots 2&3.

Full sib embryos to lots 2, 3, and 6. No, these eggs aren't sexed female. But I think the previous lots show the potential of either gender to capture value. Raise a show heifer, a cowy female or functional herd bull with a little extra show punch, or a high level steer prospect.
Guaranteed one pregnancy if implanted by a certified embryologist.
